I've taught young learners starting at 4 years of age but I find working with adults the most satisfying. From my experience, complete immersion in the language and its culture is the most effective. What I believe is also important is to be able to connect the studying process with the things you enjoy the most like your hobbies or the topics that specifically pick your interest.
