Hey there, I'm your friendly English teacher, Mike. I've been teaching English for nearly 20 years, so I know my stuff! Here's what I cover in my classes@
- GENERAL ENGLISH: We'll work on the basics like reading, writing, listening, and speaking. We'll chat about everyday topics, from weather and family to news and relationships.
- ACADEMIC ENGLISH (EAP): We'll dive into giving killer presentations, rocking group discussions, essay writing and even prep for the IELTS exams.
- ENGLISH FOR SPECIFIC PURPOSES (ESP): If you're into business, arts, design, music, or something else, I've got you. I'll make sure what you learn is practical for what you're into.
As for me, I've got some qualifications to back me up:
- Cambridge University, UK: Cambridge DELTA in TESOL;
- Aston University, UK: A Master's Degree;
- Birmingham City University, UK: A Postgraduate Diploma in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education;
- Gdansk University, PL: A Bachelor of Arts in English Language Teaching;
And here's an interesting fact about me – I have both British and Polish nationality, so I get both sides of the language and culture. That makes me super flexible in how I teach my learners. For me, you're not just a face in the crowd; you're a unique learner, and I'm here to adapt my teaching to suit your style, whether you're a young learner or an adult looking to level up your English game.
