Despre mine
Hello! My name is Loreanggi Becerra, and I'm a 28-year-old English teacher located in Bogota, Colombia. As a native Spanish speaker, I bring a bilingual perspective to my teaching. I've been teaching since I was 16, following in my family's footsteps as educators. I graduated magna cum laude from Universidad de Los Andes in Venezuela in 2019.
You should trust me as your English teacher because I am deeply empathetic and committed to creating a safe, supportive learning environment. I understand mistakes are valuable learning opportunities and my patient and encouraging approach helps you grow at your own pace. My goal is to ensure you feel supported every step of the way. Learning from me is worthwhile because of my diverse teaching background, which includes various age groups and settings. From group lessons, 1-on-1 teaching, and online classes, I have worked with thousands of students worldwide. These diverse experiences have enriched my teaching with cultural insights and language skills that I bring to every lesson. In my free time, I enjoy cooking and baking, and I volunteer at an animal shelter. I'm passionate about animal welfare and have rescued over a dozen stray cats with my parents. I love watching horror movies and anime shows. As a non-binary person, I use they/them pronouns and will create an inclusive and respectful learning space for everyone.
