I'm Artur, and I’ve been working as an English teacher in secondary school for over 25 years. Throughout my professional career, I’ve mostly worked with students aged from 15 to 19 years old, preparing them for the school-leaving exam called Matura. Moreover, by conducting courses in a private school and later running my own business of English tutoring, I also taught children and adults, which gave me a lot of satisfaction. I got my master’s degree in English philology at Silesian University, completed the career path at a state school, obtaining the degree of certified teacher, and became an examiner for the Regional Examination Commission. In my work, I always try to motivate people to speak and use, in practice, what they’ve learnt. I give plenty of opportunities to practise speaking, reading, listening, and writing skills, which makes the process of learning complete and balanced. In my spare time, I adore being active, whether it is working in my garden, running in the nearby forest when the weather is fine, or working out at home in winter. The work itself and the progress that my students make contribute to fulfilment at work.
