About me
I am a native Portuguese speaker of Brazil and have a great interest in people, how they communicate and how they learn languages. My first career was in engineering - I studied at Tiradentes University and then worked as an Oil and Gas engineer for 5 years in Brazil. I later moved to Colombia and have taught English as a foreign language to adults since 2017. I’ve worked for private, commercial and institutional clients, both online and face to face, 1 to 1 and in groups. I’m a certified teacher of English as a foreign language (DELTA) and a member of BRAZ-TESOL, the professional body for English language teachers in Brazil. I have learned Spanish and I understand from my own experience many of the issues connected with learning a foreign language as an adult.
