Über mich selbst
Hi my name is Petra, I am from Hungary but I have lived and studied in Edinburgh, Scotland. I graduated with a BA Honours degree in Languages and Intercultural Communication in Edinburgh Napier University. I speak Hungarian, English and Spanish and I am a TEFL certified English teacher and I have experience teaching English in Spain and Hungary working with all different age groups. I have experience in planning and preparing classes across all different age groups form kids to adults with various levels and learning objectives.
I have prepared students for Cambridge and Oxford exams, held conversation classes and individual classes to improve general English for relocation or work, so if this is something that you are looking for, I can definitely help you!
Throughout my classes I continuously provide feedback and support for all my students while I make sure to bring lots of fun based on personal interests into all of my lessons.
My teaching style is adjusted to your needs, depending on your personal objectives. We correct grammatical mistakes and focus on understanding the reasons behind them while we practise pronunciation. I always like to bring interesting topics to generate discussion and learn new vocabulary. I like to put a great emphasis on speaking, self-expression and conversation skills, while, as far as I am concerned these are crucial for any language.
