Über mich selbst
Hello! My name is Silvia, and I am a certified teacher of English language and literature from eastern side of Slovakia.
Two years ago, I graduated from University with the achievement of a master's degree; furthermore, during my studies, I was engaged in external teaching and writing theses, even a diploma thesis in English focusing on analysis of novel works dedicated to children. Since then, I have been teaching for more than two years, while education takes place in the online sphere or in person. I have experience in teaching young learners, teenagers preparing for graduation tests, and adults with their own requirements, for instance to enhance fluency and eliminate ambiguities and deficiencies in the English language.
As far as I am concerned, I believe that the main objective of teaching effectively is to promote language acquisition through creative and personalised activities that enrich lessons and engage students properly.
