About Me

Hi, I’m Jakub, an English teacher from Slovakia with a passion for connecting with people and making language learning an enjoyable journey.

Education

I majored in Translation and Interpretation of English and German and have years of experience teaching children, adults, and professionals in various settings—from classrooms to companies. My multilingual background (English, German, and Japanese) also helps me approach teaching with a broader cultural perspective.

Over the years, I’ve worked with a wide range of learners: young children just starting their English journey, adults refining their skills, and corporate professionals needing tailored Business English lessons. When I’m not teaching, I love spending time with my wife and kids, reading, and exploring new cultures through language and travel. I’m also a fan of Japanese culture, and learning the language has given me insights into what it’s like to tackle new challenges as a student.
I’m also an AI enthusiast, always curious about how technology can enhance our lives and improve the learning experience.
